I have a 3D object that is heated through +Temperature on a face and am trying to simulate natural convection and forced convection of ambient air surrounding it entirelyin separate simulations.
What ways are best to establish these physics?
The domain of air is 3 ft^3 and I have accounted for buoyancy forces as described by "Convection Cooling of Circuit Boards—3D Natural Convection".
Nat. Conv. I'm attempting to use +Open Boundary on all faces of the box and neglected +Periodic Heat Condition and +Symmetry Flow as defined in the example model. Do the outermost boundaries need either +Convective Cooling or +Outflow?
Forced Conv. Here I obviously need the +Inlet and +Outlet conditioners on two faces of the air domain, but how do I configure the remaining four faces?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
