Hi,
I am simulating simple bridge(Fixed-fixed cantilever) using 'Structural mechanics - Eigenfrequency ' for resonance frequency.
Along with it I want to see the temperature profile when beam is resonating at resonance.
Can anyone please suggest which physics should I use?

Thank you.

Hi,

You can probably try the "thermoelasticity" module. It tells you the temperature gradient for different mode shapes (this module is available only on COMSOL 4.3a and above).

Cheers,
Hadi

Hi,
Thank you Hadi. Actually I have just COMSOL 4.3, Do we have any suitable physics in 4.3?

Thank you.
